1. Describe the property and the concern
Tell us your city, what you’ve noticed, and your roof’s age or material if you know it. You don’t need to figure out the problem yourself. Mention anything that could make access tricky.
2. Confirm the provider and availability
Your request may be shared with an independent roofer. Talk with them about your address, any inspection fee, and a time that works for you. Sending a request doesn’t book an appointment or commit you to work.
3. Compare a written estimate
Ask what your roofer found, which materials they recommend, what the price includes, and how extra work is approved. Check their credentials and read the agreement before deciding.
4. Agree on work directly
The contractor is responsible for the inspection, estimate, agreement, work, and applicable warranties. Keep your plan and any changes in writing through the final walkthrough.
